Email and Anti-Spam Policy
Last updated November 6, 2026
Every message sent through ProperIntro’s tools must follow these rules. Most are enforced automatically; you remain responsible for compliance with the laws of the places you and your recipients are in, including CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), PECR and UK GDPR (UK) and GDPR/ePrivacy (EU).
What the Service does for you
- Adds your sender name, reply address and postal address, and a one-click unsubscribe link and header to every campaign email.
- Honors unsubscribes, bounces and complaints immediately by adding the address to your workspace’s suppression list.
- Skips recipients who asked not to be contacted, protected contacts you lack access to, and people you emailed recently.
- Limits daily sending per plan, and may slow or pause sending to protect deliverability.
What you must do
- Send only relevant, professional messages to people in a professional capacity.
- Use a truthful “from” identity and subject line, and do not hide who you or your client are.
- Include accurate content; do not make false claims or impersonate others.
- Have a lawful basis to contact each recipient. In some regions (such as Canada and parts of the EU) prior consent or a recognized exemption may be required for commercial messages.
- Stop contacting anyone who asks, including by reply, and do not re-add suppressed addresses.
- Do not send sensitive personal data or attachments the recipient did not expect.
Complaints and monitoring
We monitor bounce and complaint rates. High rates can lead to throttling, suspension of sending, or termination. Recipients can also ask us to be removed from the directory through /remove.
