Copyright and Takedown Policy

Last updated November 6, 2026

ProperIntro respects intellectual property rights and expects customers to do the same. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, tell us.

Reporting infringement

Send a notice that includes: your name and contact details; a description of the work you say is infringed; the location of the allegedly infringing material (a link or description detailed enough for us to find it); a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.

Send notices through the privacy and legal request form at /remove (choose “Something else”) or to our contact address once published.

What we do

We review notices promptly, may remove or disable access to the material, and may notify the customer who provided it. Where a counter-notice is provided under applicable law (the notice must identify the removed material, state under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, include consent to jurisdiction, and be signed), we may restore the material unless the complainant files a court action within the period the law allows.

Repeat infringers

We will suspend or terminate the accounts of customers who are repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances.

Trademarks

ProperIntro and its logos are our trademarks. Do not use them in a way that suggests endorsement without our written permission. Outlet and person names shown in the directory belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
