Professional relationship intelligence

Know who matters.

The right people. The right context. A better way to connect.

ProperIntro is the contact intelligence platform for independent publicists and boutique agencies. Find the journalists, producers and hosts who fit a story, understand them before you write, and keep every relationship in one place.

The demo workspace needs no account and no card.

How it works

From a name to a conversation, in four steps.

  1. 1

    Find

Describe who you need in plain language. ProperIntro searches outlets, shows and people, and tells you why each one fits.

    The Shortlist

  2. 2

    Know

Open a profile and see what they cover, how they like to be pitched, who you both know, and exactly where each detail came from.

    The Brief and The Receipt

  3. 3

    Reach out

Write once, personalize for everyone on a list, preview every message, and send with a courtesy check built in.

    The First Word

  4. 4

    Follow through

Replies move pitches forward. Log the coverage they earn and send your client a clean report.

    Keep in Touch

More than a name in a database

Context you can read, check, and use.

A contact is a person with a beat, a preference, a history, and a reason to say yes. Here’s what sits behind every profile.

Find your people.

Search that understands you

Type “beauty editors covering ingredient transparency, last 90 days” and see the filters it reads, then adjust them. Results show outlet, show, and person, with the best pitch contact first.

See the bigger picture.

Warm paths, not cold calls

Your team’s relationships form a map. See who knows whom, how well, and the shortest route to an introduction.

Know what you can trust.

Evidence, not guesses

Compare sources, see conflicts, and watch freshness decay. AI only drafts ideas from cited work and never invents facts about a person.

Trust is the product

The best connections aren’t accidents.

Every fact has a source

Roles, emails and beats show where they came from, who confirmed them, and when. Anything we haven’t verified says so.

Outlets keep their own records

Newsrooms claim their team, correct titles, set pitch guidelines and protect their senior contacts. Changes are logged and reversible.

Built to be respectful

Do-not-contact requests are honored everywhere, quiet hours and embargoes are checked, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.

Questions

Good questions, plain answers.

  • Where does the contact data come from?

From public sources, outlet-maintained records, licensed providers, and confirmations from our community of subscribers. Each detail shows its source and how recently it was confirmed, and anything we inferred is labeled that way.

  • Do you sell or share my lists and notes?

No. Your lists, notes, relationships and campaigns are private to your workspace. Other customers never see them.

  • What stops people from being spammed?

Outlets can protect senior contacts and set pitch guidelines, individuals can ask not to be contacted, and every message is checked against do-not-contact lists, quiet hours and recent outreach before it goes out.

  • Can I try it before I pay?

Yes. The demo workspace is open to anyone, with fictional people and outlets, so you can explore every screen first.

  • I’m a journalist or I work at an outlet. Can I change what you hold?

Yes, and it’s free. Claim your listing to keep your details current or ask us to remove you. Outlets can claim their whole team.

Get properly introduced.

Start with a name. Leave knowing who they are, what they care about, and how to approach them well.
